Okay, so at first I was worried that all I would do is blog, blog, blog! Now I can see that it won't be a problem;) Wow, has it really been a month! Well, where to begin?
Wrestling for Payt is done and I am still a little wishy-washy about it. I guess we will see what happens when Fall comes and little league starts. For now we are doing T-Ball and I see a different attitude in Payt when we go. He really loves it! I can't believe how much better he is from last year even without much practicing. It is nice to see him happy for himself and not others! He is so sweet and caring that it worries me when he gets older he will become the friend that everyone uses because he will do anything for them to make them happy. I hope that things change, but only time will tell! I am seriously considering putting him in a dance hip-hop class. I really think he might enjoy it! He loves to dance at home, so I think it is worth a try. There is a class next wednesday night that I can take him to, to try and see if he likes it, I will keep you posted.
Next, Addi... Not much has changed there! She still loves to tease the crap out of her brothers! I really hope it begins to get boring for her, but no signs of that yet! She is trying to hard to be there mommy! The other day we were driving in the truck and Parker was annoying her so she said in a very "MOMMY ANGRY" tone "Parker, if you don't stop we will stop the truck and..." this is when I butt in, "Addi, you are not the mother, don't talk to him like that." So then she turns to Parker and in a very "MOMMY SWEET" tone says to him "Parker, if you don't stop we will stop this truck and you will go to bed." So evidently the difference between being the mommy and being the sister is in the tone of your voice! I couldn't help but laugh! Where does she get this stuff? I asked my mom once if I was ever like this when I was little (because we always have people we know that we think, I hope their kid is just like them so they get whats coming to them) and she said no way! So what am supposed to be learning from my beautiful very active daughter? Any hints, please let me know!
Then, there is Parker! I am begining to see that he is a very spoiled baby boy! The other day I realized that he gets away with every thing short of murder! I sent the kids to clean their rooms the other day and he just sat and watched! I snuck upstairs and actually watched. Payt, bless his heart, cleaned their whole bedroom because he wanted the reward (to watch a movie) and didn't make Parker help because he knew he wouldn't! Parker, Parker, Parker, what am I going to do with you?
Finally, my wonderful husband! It has been so nice to have him come home by 3 everyday and have him stay home all night!! No meetings or wrestling practice at night! It is so rewarding to see him enjoy our kids! Only for a few short months out of the year do my kids get to enjoy having a daddy that is home to do things with them. Then football starts in June and between that and his summer job, then school starts and then wrestling begins... So between the months of March and May, we really enjoy having our daddy home!
Okay, so now that I got all of that out of the way, hopefully my posts won't be so bitterly long!
Now to enjoy the rain-sleat-snow storm that is happening in the little town of Tooele on APRIL 28th!!! After 27 years of living in Utah is still ceases to amaze me how crazy our weather is!
