I think the days are running together now:( The house is coming along nicely but slowly. I am down to the waiting game. Paint and wait. Caulk and wait. Paint and wait some more. It is almost done though! All I need to do in the tv room is punch in the nails on the mop board then patch the holes, wait again for it to dry, sand it down and paint them! Then the tv roon will officially be finished:) The kitchen still needs mop baords but I am waiting a while before I paint and then I will put them on. I can't decide what color to paint it, any suggestions? Addi is voting for pink and purple:)
While this chaos is unfolding we have thrown another adventure into the mix. Jim signed Payt up to wrestle. High School wrestling has been over for a while, but club wrestling is still going. I have mixed feelings about this. We had him in the little league program during the winter and this was great! There were about 50 kids and they practiced a couple nights a week. They had a few little tournaments and the kids had tons of fun but this is different. This club is a pay to play sort of thing. The kids have to buy a club wrestling card and pay a fee to join a club. Then they have to pay to participate in tournaments almost every weekend so it can get pretty pricey. This is not my concern though. Payt is a very sweet kid and has trouble being aggressive, which is a huge concept in wrestling. He went to his first tournament friday and saturday and didn't win a single match(he had 7). The kids at these tournaments are 'in it to win it'. They are fairly good wrestlers and want to take it somewhat serious. Payt doesn't understand this yet. By the end of his last match he was trying with all of his will power to not cry and be a big boy. As a mom this was heart breaking! To see your kid try his best to do something good and get rejected every time. HE NEVER GAVE UP! For this I am so proud! I have tried to ask him if he wants to keep wrestling and he always says yes. I am begining to wonder more and more if he says it just to make his dad happy and proud of him. At what point do you tell him he doesn't have to do it any more rather than letting him loose over and over again hoping he will get better? This is such a new concept with me that I am stuggling with how to handle it. If anyone has advice, please share!
Other than this, all is well. We are heading to my parents house for a couple days wo the kids can get some dental work done. Their dentist is in Springville. Great way to spend spring break! Then back home to finish the house! (I hope)

:( Poor Payt. I wish I knew how to help, but obviously my kid is younger. I'm not getting a glimpse of what I might have to deal with. Good luck and enjoy your spring break! 'Can't wait to see the "finished" product of your house renovations!
