Busy, Busy, Busy!

Okay, here is a recap of the last month that has been a total blur! Addi, our sweet angel... broke her arm again! But I was not smart enough to take a picture! The only one I have I took with my phone. We had a Retirement Party for my dear old Daddy on July 18th and we spent the day at my brother-in-law's cabin. Addi decided that she wanted to help push the kids in the tire swing. What she didn't realize was that she needed to let go a little sooner than she did. The swing pulled her down the hill and she tumbled after. Poor girl, she got a buckle fracture in her wrist. Same arm even! This one did require a cast though. If you know Addi at all, it was hot pink! She loved it.
My birthday was a couple weeks later. Actually the same day I took Addi to get her cast off. We came home from Salt Lake to find that Jim had gotten a babysiter and was going to take me on a much needed date! He was so cute! He had packed a lunch and we headed up Middle Canyon. We actually decided to go up to the Kennecot Overlook. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I remember going there for a field trip in elementary school but Jim had never seen it before. We got there an hour or so before sunset. It was great! You can see all the way down to Utah county and up to Lagoon(you could see it with binoculars). I highly recommend eveyone take a trip up there! Not very kid friendly though.
We had to take our puppy Chunk to live with Grandma and Papa Burton a month and a half ago. He was a little to friendly with the neighbors and needed more room outside to play. Ever since then Meg has been really depressed and unhappy. My sister's miniture shih-tzu had puppies and she was nice enough to let us have one! One Monday the 15th, we got a new puppy! Meg has been so much happier since then. It'a a girl and we named her Tinker Bell, but the kids call her Tink. She has fit in right at home with our crazy family! Addi loves her and Payt is happy to have another puppy again. He had a hard time leaving Chunk at Grandma's but we told him that Chunk had to stay because he was barking at the neighbors too much. He understood but he was really sad because Chunk was 'His Puppy'. He has done a lot better since we got Tink and I think he is now okay with Chunk living at Papa's house. I haven't taken any pictures of her yet, so I will add those later.
Then, this past Friday, August 20th, was our PakMan's third bday! We actually celebrated yesterday(Sat.) because Daddy had to work till 3 and then leave for their first football game Friday night. (They won! 7 to 6) I have pictures of his bday but I will do a seperate post for him!
Now, school starts on Tuesday and maybe life wont be so crazy! Haha!
We had a great summer but I am ready to get back to a normal(kinda) routine! School, preschool, football, wrestling, craft fairs, babysitting...
